MOSCOW, Dec. 12 (Xinhua) -- A drone attack on Friday wounded seven people and damaged a residential building in the western Russian city of Tver, said Vitaly Korolev, the acting governor of Tver Oblast.
The injured, including a child, have been hospitalized for medical care, Korolev said on Telegram.
Witnesses said the drone struck the building's lower part in the early hours of Friday. Before emergency services arrived, residents tried to contain the fire caused by the attack and helped evacuate neighbors from the building.
At least four apartments, along with several vehicles parked nearby, were damaged, local media reported.
Videos showed residents of the building fleeing into the street after the explosion, some in their pajamas. ■
