BEIJING, Dec. 5 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 jolted Kermadec Islands region at 1912 GMT on Thursday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 27.57 degrees south latitude and 175.51 degrees west longitude. ■
