MINSK, Dec. 3 (Xinhua) -- The international reserves of Belarus have reached nearly 14 billion U.S. dollars, marking a consistent upward trend throughout 2025, the country's central bank said Wednesday.
As of Dec. 1, the reserves stood at 13.9 billion dollars, reflecting an increase of 177.2 million dollars in November, following October's total of 13.7 billion dollars, which showed a steady growth pattern since the beginning of the year.
The structure of these reserve assets is dominated by foreign currency and monetary gold.
While foreign currency reserves saw a decrease of 125.9 million dollars to around 5.2 billion dollars, holdings of monetary gold experienced a significant surge, growing by 314.8 million dollars in November, and nearing a total of 7.26 billion dollars.
According to the targets of the monetary policy, the volume of Belarus' international reserve assets is projected to be at least 7.1 billion dollars by the end of 2025. ■
