SARAJEVO, Nov. 4 (Xinhua) -- Bosnia and Herzegovina's (BiH) Prosecutor's Office has suspended an investigation into Serb leaders Milorad Dodik, Radovan Viskovic, and Nenad Stevandic over alleged attacks on the constitutional order, citing insufficient evidence.

The probe was launched after the Republika Srpska National Assembly (RSNA) in February passed laws barring state-level judicial institutions from operating within the entity, measures later ruled unconstitutional by the Constitutional Court.

The three leaders were briefly detained and questioned in July before being released. In October, the RSNA repealed the disputed legislation amid easing political tensions.

BiH consists of two autonomous entities under a central government, the Serb-majority Republika Srpska and the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
