VILNIUS, Sept. 25 (Xinhua) -- Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda signed a decree on Thursday approving the country's new full cabinet, the Baltic News Service reported.

The decree updated an earlier one signed on Sept. 9 to include Energy Minister Zygimantas Vaiciunas, Environment Minister Kastytis Zuromskas, and Culture Minister Ignotas Adomavicius, according to the report.

Zuromskas and Adomavicius were nominated by Nemunas Dawn party, while Vaiciunas was put forward by the Social Democrats under a ministry swap deal.

The move came ahead of a parliament vote slated for later Thursday on a government program proposed by Prime Minister Inga Ruginiene.

The cabinet will be sworn in once the program is approved.

Former Prime Minister Gintautas Paluckas stepped down on Aug. 4, triggering the automatic resignation of the entire cabinet.

The Lithuanian Social Democratic Party, Nemunas Dawn, the Lithuanian Farmers and Greens Union and the Christian Families Alliance signed an agreement in late August to form a new ruling coalition.
