VILNIUS, July 30 (Xinhua) -- Lithuania's gross domestic product (GDP) reached 20.5 billion euros (23.5 billion U.S. dollars) in the second quarter (Q2) of 2025, marking a 3 percent increase compared to the same period last year, according to official statistics released on Wednesday.
On a quarter-on-quarter basis, the economy grew by 0.2 percent, based on seasonally and calendar-adjusted data from the State Data Agency.
The agency attributed the second-quarter growth primarily to strong performance by enterprises in wholesale and retail trade, transportation and storage, as well as information and communication services, the Baltic News Service (BNS) reported. ■
