ZAGREB, June 5 (Xinhua) -- Two people were killed in a traffic accident on the highway near the Croatian capital on Thursday, the Croatian Radiotelevision reported.
The accident, which involved a truck and a passenger car, occurred Thursday morning on a highway in the city of Kupljenovo near Zagreb. Police and emergency services have arrived, and a medical helicopter was also dispatched to the scene, according to the report.
Traffic on the affected highway section has been completely suspended and an investigation is ongoing, the report said. ■
