PRAGUE, Sept. 19 (Xinhua) -- Seventeen people were injured Thursday in an accident in the western Czech region of Karlovy Vary involving a bus and a passenger car.
A spokesman from the regional fire brigade told the Czech News Agency that the bus drove into railway tracks after colliding with the car in the early morning. The bus driver, 15 passengers and the car driver were treated for minor injuries.
The car driver was believed to be drunk driving.
The Railway Administration staff are expected to extricate the bus using two cranes.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident. ■
