PARIS, July 29 (Xinhua) -- A man in his twenties was found shot dead on Monday morning in a wasteland in the southern French city of Marseille, which is known for its drug-trafficking hotspots, local media Le Parisien reported.
The identity of the victim is not yet known, according to a police source quoted by the media.
Investigators have cordoned off the area and are canvassing the surroundings of this potential crime scene. ■
