ATHENS, Nov. 26 (Xinhua) -- A cargo vessel sank off the Greek island of Lesvos, the country's national news agency AMNA reported on Sunday.
So far, one of the 14-member crew has been rescued from the Aegean Sea but the locations of the other 13 are unclear yet. The rescue operation is still underway.
The accident happened while the cargo ship was sailing from Egypt to Istanbul in Turkey, carrying tons of salt.
Reports said that strong winds of 8 on the Beaufort scale were blowing in the area, which might caused the accident. ■
