ATHENS, Oct. 16 (Xinhua) -- Three people lost their lives off Greece's Symi island in the Aegean Sea after a boat carrying migrants sank on Sunday evening, Greek national news agency AMNA reported on Monday.
AMNA quoted the eight survivors as saying 13 people were onboard when the accident happened.
A search and rescue operation was underway for the two missing.
According to the rescued, the two missing were seen to have managed to reach the shore, the report said. ■
