MOSCOW, July 7 (Xinhua) -- Six people were killed and two injured in a blast at an explosives factory in Russia's Samara region, RIA Novosti reported Friday.
The incident, which occurred at the Promsintez plant in the city of Chapayevsk, happened following "the dismantling of equipment during repair work" at one of the factory's workshops, RIA reported citing emergency services.
Promsintez is a main manufacturer of industrial explosives in Russia. ■
