ST. PETERSBURG, May 11 (Xinhua) -- The boundaries of the Amurskaya Advanced Development Territory (ADT) in the Russian Far East have been expanded, the government's press service announced Thursday.

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has signed the relevant decree, including new sites located in Blagoveshchensk, Belogorsk and the Tyndinsky district of the Amur region in the Amurskaya ADT, said the press service in a statement.

The expansion of territories will see the establishment and upgrading of projects that will attract investment worth around 240 million U.S. dollars, the statement said.

Russia has created about 20 ADTs in the Far East. Companies of ADT residents have access to various preferences, including reduced tax rates, insurance premiums and a free customs zone.
