MADRID, Jan. 10 (Xinhua) -- FC Barcelona coach Xavi Hernandez has welcomed back forward Robert Lewandowski and left back Jordi Alba into his squad for the Spanish Supercup.

Barcelona face Copa del Rey winners Betis in the second semifinal in Riyadh on Thursday night - 24 hours after Real Madrid meet Valencia in the first semi - and with the final on Sunday.

Lewandowski is available for the Supercup after serving the first game of a three-match ban in La Liga in Sunday night's 1-0 win away to Atletico Madrid.

The fact the Supercup is a different competition means the Polish striker, who has a total of 18 goals (13 in La Liga and 5 in the Champions League) since joining Barca over the summer, is able to play in Riyadh and also in Barca's Copa del Rey round of 16 tie away to Ceuta next week.

Alba has completed his suspension and will probably get the nod to start ahead of Alex Balde.

Ferran Torres is also expected to have a place in Thursday's team after he was sent off in Madrid after a scuffle with Atletico Madrid defender Stefan Savic and (along with Lewandowski) will miss the visit to play Getafe in La Liga on January 22.

Summer signing Pablo Torres is also included in the squad after his impressive display against CD Intercity for Barca last week in the Copa del Rey.
