MOSCOW, Dec. 31 (Xinhua) -- The ninth Andrei Stenin International Press Photo Contest is accepting works from photographers aged 18 to 33 and entries will close on Feb. 28, 2023.
The 2023 contest has four categories where young photographers can vie for awards: Top News, Sports, My Planet, and Portrait: A Hero of Our Time.
"The professional photographic world appreciates our competition. We have our own name. We are very proud of it and will continue to follow our path only forward. We wish all participants good luck and victory," said Oksana Oleinik, curator of the contest and head of the Visual Projects Service at the Rossiya Segodnya international media group.
The contest has been held annually in honor of Rossiya Segodnya photojournalist Andrei Stenin, who died in 2014 while on assignment. ■
