SARAJEVO, July 29 (Xinhua) -- A new team has been formed by the government of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), to boost cooperation with China, the Council of Ministers of BiH said on Thursday.
Representatives have been appointed to the team from BiH's Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade and Economic Relations, Communications and Transport, and Finance and Treasury.
The initiative was launched by BiH's Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations, and the team is authorized to coordinate and facilitate state cooperation with the People's Republic of China to promote friendly cooperation with Central and Eastern European countries (CEEC).
The team will coordinate all matters relating to CEEC, including organizing meetings and business forums. The team will report directly to the Council of Ministers of BiH.
Over the past decade, BiH-China relations have grown stronger, through cooperation in the energy, construction and infrastructure sectors, as well as through cultural and education cooperation. ■
