HELSINKI, April 8 (Xinhua) -- Finland on Friday expelled two staff members of the Russian Embassy in the country and denied visa extension to a third person.
The decision was taken by President Sauli Niinisto and the Ministerial Committee on Foreign and Security Policy.
Several other European countries expelled a large number of Russian diplomats in recent weeks. Russia has pledged to take retaliation steps. ■
