PARIS, Jan. 26 (Xinhua) -- In Metropolitan France (the area of the country geographically in Europe), the number of registered jobseekers decreased by 3.8 percent to 5,368,200 in the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2021, the country's public employment service Pole Emploi said on Wednesday.
The year-on-year decline was 6 percent, Pole Emploi added.
Over 3 million of the jobseekers were out of work, while the rest worked part-time or with reduced hours. ■
