BEIJING, Nov. 6 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.7 jolted Fiji Islands region at 1721 GMT on Thursday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 536.3 km, was initially determined to be at 21.07 degrees south latitude and 178.64 degrees west longitude. ■
