HONG KONG, Oct. 24 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 7.1 jolted Vanuatu Islands at 0231 GMT on Saturday, the GFZ German Research Center for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 14.06 degrees south latitude and 165.51 degrees east longitude. ■
