KUALA LUMPUR, Oct. 19 (Xinhua) -- Malaysia's inflation rate stood at 1.9 percent in the third quarter of 2026, unchanged from the rate recorded in the previous quarter, official data showed on Monday.
Separately, Malaysia's inflation eased to 1.8 percent in September 2026 from 1.9 percent in August, the Department of Statistics Malaysia said in a statement.
On a month-on-month basis, the headline inflation rose 0.1 percent in September, compared with a 0.3-percent increase in August, it said. ■
