KABUL, Oct. 14 (Xinhua) -- Police in the fight against illegal drugs have discovered and destroyed 10 drug processing labs and seized a huge quantity of objects used in manufacturing illicit drugs in western Afghanistan's Ghor province over the past month, said a statement from the provincial police office on Wednesday.
The narcotics, including hashish, opium, methamphetamine and acid, and the drug processing labs were discovered in Pasaband district, the statement asserted.
Police have also arrested 50 drug smugglers and recovered 50 motorbikes from their possessions during the period, the statement further said. ■
