DHAKA, Oct. 12 (Xinhua) -- Bangladesh's net foreign direct investment (FDI) rose 12.78 percent year on year to 346.94 million U.S. dollars in April-June this year, driven largely by reinvested earnings.
As per the latest FDI statistics released by Bangladesh Bank, reinvested earnings increased 55.08 percent year on year to 260.91 million dollars, reflecting continued profitability and reinvestment by existing foreign investors, Invest Bangladesh, the apex investment promotion and facilitation agency of the country, said in a press release on Monday.
During 2025, Bangladesh showed a significant increase in net FDI inflows, reaching 1.77 billion dollars, while it was 1.27 billion dollars in 2024. ■
