BEIJING, Oct. 13 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 jolted Mid-Indian Ridge at 1827 GMT on Monday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 16.29 degrees south latitude and 67.15 degrees east longitude. ■
