NEW DELHI, Oct. 9 (Xinhua) -- At least four paramilitary troopers belonging to the paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force were wounded in an accidental blast in the central Indian state of Chhattisgarh, police said Friday.
The blast took place on Thursday evening during the disposal of unserviceable and leftover explosives near Alarmadgu camp in the Bhejji area of Sukma district, about 440 km south of Raipur, the capital city of Chhattisgarh.
"During the operation, an explosive fell nearby and exploded, resulting in wounding four security personnel, two of them critically," a senior police official said. "The wounded personnel were given first aid immediately and later shifted to the government hospital in Konta." ■
