HONG KONG, Oct. 8 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.6 jolted 105 km NE of Norsup, Vanuatu at 09:00:08 GMT on Thursday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 15.48 degrees south latitude and 168.18 degrees east longitude. ■
