HANOI, Oct. 1 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam's airports handled nearly 102 million passengers in the first nine months of 2026, up 12 percent year on year, the Vietnam News Agency reported Thursday, citing the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam.
International passenger traffic exceeded 39 million during the period, rising 14 percent year on year, while domestic passenger traffic topped 62 million, up 11 percent, according to the report.
Air cargo throughput reached 1.4 million tons during the nine-month period, an increase of more than 10 percent year on year.
Vietnamese airlines carried more than 46 million passengers during the period, including nearly 15 million international passengers and more than 31 million domestic passengers, the report said. ■
