KUALA LUMPUR, Oct. 1 (Xinhua) -- Singapore and Malaysia's competition authorities have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Kuala Lumpur to deepen cooperation on competition law enforcement.
The agreement between the Competition and Consumer Commission of Singapore and the Malaysia Competition Commission will facilitate the exchange of information and coordination on enforcement actions in cases of mutual interest, the two parties said in a statement on Thursday.
Beyond enforcement cooperation, the MoU provides opportunities for officials from both authorities to exchange perspectives on developments in competition law and policy, share institutional experience and build expertise in areas of mutual interest. ■
