KUALA LUMPUR, Sept. 24 (Xinhua) -- Malaysia is stepping up efforts to tap China's growing digital economy, with 15 Malaysian exhibitors showcasing technology and digital trade capabilities at the Global Digital Trade Expo in Hangzhou, its trade agency said on Thursday.
The exhibitors included four government agencies, highlighting Malaysia's strengths and innovations across digital trade, artificial intelligence, cloud services, smart healthcare and cross-border e-commerce, the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation said in a statement.
The agency's Chief Executive Officer Abu Bakar Yusof said the participation would help Malaysian digital and technology companies expand into China while diversifying the country's product mix toward high-tech goods and solutions. ■
