TOKYO, Sept. 23 (Xinhua) -- A passenger aircraft operated by All Nippon Airways (ANA) made an emergency return to Naha Airport in Japan's southern island prefecture of Okinawa shortly after 10 p.m. local time on Wednesday, with passengers evacuated using emergency slides after the plane came to a stop on a taxiway, local media reported.
The aircraft had taken off from Naha Airport at around 9 p.m., bound for Saga Airport in Saga Prefecture, but turned back after a warning indicated that the engine oil temperature was too high, public broadcaster NHK reported.
No injuries have been reported so far. ANA and other authorities are investigating the details of the incident. ■
