TOKYO, Sept. 23 (Xinhua) -- Smoke was seen coming from a building in Tokyo's bustling Shinjuku area on Wednesday night, and several people reported feeling unwell after inhaling smoke, according to local media.
The building, located in front of JR Shinjuku Station, houses restaurants, a movie theater and other establishments. The seventh floor, where the smoke was seen coming from at around 8 p.m. local time, has restaurants, public broadcaster NHK reported.
Around 30 fire engines and other emergency vehicles were dispatched to the scene to put out the fire. Authorities are investigating the details of the incident. ■
