KUALA LUMPUR, Sept. 23 (Xinhua) -- Asia Pacific dominates the annual ranking of global airport connectivity by OAG, an intelligence partner for global travel, with eight airports in the global top 20.
Malaysia's Kuala Lumpur International Airport ranks fourth globally and first among all Asian airports, with connections to 154 destinations, according to the Megahubs 2026 report released by OAG.
The average dominant carrier share at Asia Pacific's top 10 airports is 33 percent, lower than most other regions. This reflects the diverse mix of full-service and low-cost carriers serving different traveler segments across Southeast and Northeast Asia, according to the agency. ■
