SYDNEY, Sept. 20 (Xinhua) -- Three women have died following separate domestic violence incidents in the Australian state of New South Wales (NSW) within 10 hours on Saturday.

The NSW police force said on Sunday that a 23-year-old woman was fatally stabbed at a home in the city of Wagga Wagga, 380 km southwest of Sydney, shortly before midday on Saturday.

A 31-year-old man, who police said was in a relationship with the victim, was arrested on Saturday night and charged with domestic violence-related murder.

A second woman, aged 90, died after she was stabbed at a home in the eastern Sydney suburb of Bondi Beach around 5:15 p.m. on Saturday.

Police said that a 47-year-old man was arrested at the scene and charged with domestic violence-related murder.

Later on Saturday night, police said emergency services were called to reports of a domestic violence incident at a home in the small town of Mole River, 530 km north of Sydney, around 9:35 p.m. and were told that a 37-year-old man had attempted to steal a vehicle before assaulting a 74-year-old man.

Officers arrested the 37-year-old before attending a neighboring property where they located the body of a 70-year-old woman.

Part of the property had been damaged by fire.
