BEIJING, Sept. 11 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 jolted Southern East Pacific Rise at 1821 GMT on Thursday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 34.84 degrees south latitude and 109.30 degrees west longitude. ■
