ISLAMABAD, Sept. 9 (Xinhua) -- Six people were killed and 18 others injured when a tractor trolley collided with an electric pole in Pakistan's southern Sindh province, rescue officials said on Wednesday.
The accident occurred in the Thatta district on Tuesday night, and a Rescue 1122 team responded to an emergency call and reached the site shortly afterward.
Local residents shifted the bodies of six people to a hospital in private vehicles, while the 18 injured were transported to Civil Hospital Makli by Rescue 1122.
The deceased included two women and four men, officials said.
Authorities were investigating the cause of the accident. ■
