KABUL, Sept. 8 (Xinhua) -- The Afghan army has seized more than a dozen assault rifles and huge ammunitions from eastern Afghanistan's Ghazni province, said a statement from the national army stationed in the province on Tuesday.
During a series of intelligence-based operations conducted in the provincial capital Ghazni city, army personnel discovered 14 pieces of assault rifles, a night-vision binocular, and more than 5,000 rounds of bullets, the statement added. ■
