KUALA LUMPUR, Sept. 8 (Xinhua) -- A helicopter carrying five people on a flying doctor service flight crashed in the northern Borneo state of Sarawak, authorities said on Tuesday.
The BO-105 helicopter crashed near the Long Lellang STOLport, with the incident being called in around 3:58 p.m. local time, the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia said in a statement.
"The helicopter was operating a Flying Doctor Service flight with five persons on board, including the pilot," it said without providing details of the condition of those on board. ■
