ISLAMABAD, Sept. 6 (Xinhua) -- Two youths were killed and eight others seriously injured when a truck collided with a passenger van in Pakistan's northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Sunday, according to Rescue 1122.
The accident occurred early Sunday morning in the Sakhakot area of Malakand district when a speeding truck rammed into the Bajaur-bound van, a Rescue 1122 spokesperson told Xinhua.
Rescue teams reached the site shortly after the accident and provided first aid before shifting the injured to a nearby hospital, where some of them were reported to be in critical condition. ■
