NEW DELHI, Sept. 4 (Xinhua) -- India's foreign exchange (forex) reserves further rose by 11.475 billion U.S. dollars to 740.803 billion U.S. dollars during the week ended Aug. 28, revealed the country's central bank, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), in its weekly bulletin issued on Friday.
The forex reserves had been continuously increasing for the past several weeks.
According to the RBI data, the forex reserves increased primarily due to a sharp rise of 9.337 billion U.S. dollars in the Foreign Currency Assets to 600.67 billion U.S. dollars. ■
