BEIJING, Sept. 3 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.7 jolted Papua New Guinea at 2004 GMT on Wednesday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 7.16 degrees south latitude and 146.17 degrees east longitude. ■
