BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Aug. 31 (Xinhua) -- Brunei's Ministry of Development, through the Clean Brunei initiative, held a dialogue session with youth on cleanliness issues on Monday.
The session served as a platform for engaging young people in discussions on cleanliness-related issues and provided an opportunity for them to share their views, ideas and suggestions on fostering greater responsibility in maintaining a clean environment.
Nearly 300 participants, comprising youth and students from higher education institutions, took part in the dialogue session.
Alongside the dialogue, the program also featured local youth-led vendors as a side activity.
The dialogue session also forms part of the ministry's ongoing efforts through Clean Brunei to encourage greater participation from all levels of society, particularly youth, in playing an active role in creating a cleaner, more comfortable, and sustainable environment in Brunei. ■
