KABUL, Aug. 30 (Xinhua) -- At least two passengers were killed and 10 others injured, some critically, in four separate road accidents across eastern Afghanistan's Logar province over the past 24 hours, a local police official said on Sunday.
The incidents, attributed to reckless driving and excessive speed, occurred in Baraki Barak, Charkh, and Mohammad Agha districts, as well as in Pul-e-Alam, the provincial capital. Among the injured were two women, according to Ahmadullah Anas, spokesman for the provincial police.
All the injured have been transferred to medical facilities, Anas said, noting that the condition of several remains critical. ■
