BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Aug. 30 (Xinhua) -- Brunei's Tourism Development Department will participate in the Sabah International Expo to be held in the neighboring Malaysian state of Sabah from Sept. 4 to 6, as part of efforts to strengthen the country's tourism presence in regional markets.
The department said its three-day participation will feature the Brunei Coffee Trail promotional event alongside the Visit Brunei Year 2027 Roadshow.
It will bring together Brunei coffee and matcha café operators, tourism service providers and visitor attractions under one pavilion.
Following the encouraging response to the Brunei Coffee Trail held in Sabah's capital, Kota Kinabalu, in August 2025, this year's event returns with more to explore.
The participation reflects the government's continuing efforts to strengthen Brunei's tourism presence in regional markets while creating opportunities for local businesses and entrepreneurs to introduce their products and services to a wider audience. ■
