KABUL, Aug. 25 (Xinhua) -- Counter-Terrorism police personnel have discovered and seized five firearms during a series of operations in Kapisa province, eastern Afghanistan, said a statement from the Ministry of Interior Affairs on Tuesday.
Without providing further details, the statement on the social media platform X noted that the police will not allow anyone to take the law into their own hands and create law-and-order problems.
Similarly, police have also seized 10,200 illicit tablets locally known as "Tablet K" from Momand Dara district in Nangarhar province and took an individual into custody, the ministry confirmed. ■
