HANOI, Aug. 25 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam aims to provide electronic health records and lifelong health management for 100 percent of its population by 2030, local daily Suc Khoe&Doi Song reported Tuesday.
It is one of the goals set out in the national target program on culture, society, rural development, and ethnic minority and mountainous areas for the 2026-2030 period, which was recently approved by Vietnam's 16th National Assembly.
The program, with a budget of over 808.5 trillion Vietnamese dong (about 31.1 billion U.S. dollars), also aims to ensure that 100 percent of local centers for disease control are capable of testing for pathogens, antigens and antibodies of dangerous infectious diseases, as well as testing clean water quality and school sanitation conditions in accordance with Ministry of Health regulations. ■
