KABUL, Aug. 25 (Xinhua) -- At least 15 people were injured in an earthquake in Afghanistan's eastern Nangarhar province on Tuesday morning, local media Tolo News reported.
According to the report, the injured, including women and children, were taken to the Nangarhar Regional Hospital for treatment.
Authorities are assessing the situation and gathering further information on casualties and damage caused by the earthquake. ■
