MANILA, Aug. 20 (Xinhua) -- The Philippine government will construct and upgrade a total of 13 pumping stations around Metro Manila as part of flood-control efforts, local media reported on Thursday.
Most of the projects are expected to be operational by the end of 2026 or early 2027, local media said.
The government is also exploring environmentally friendly waste disposal methods, including composting, according to the reports. ■
