MANILA, Aug. 20 (Xinhua) -- The 14-year-old student who carried out the deadly shooting at the junior high school in Zamboanga City "acted alone," a Philippine minister said on Thursday, according to local media.
"Alone in the sense that he planned, executed, and willfully did everything on his own," Interior and Local Government Secretary Jonvic Remulla was quoted as saying at a press conference.
No organized group planned the attack with him, and authorities found no communications indicating that others were involved, he added. ■
