BEIJING, Aug. 19 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.2 jolted Hindu Kush Region, Afghanistan at 1951 GMT on Tuesday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 188.8 km, was initially determined to be at 36.52 degrees north latitude and 70.78 degrees east longitude. ■
