BEIJING, Aug. 18 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 jolted Kuril Islands at 2136 GMT on Monday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 46.66 degrees north latitude and 151.26 degrees east longitude. ■
